Select the Polygon tool from the toolbar, then click on the map to place corner points. Double-click (or click the first point again) to close the shape. You can then name it and set a style.

Can I draw a route or path?

Yes. Select the LineString/Path tool and click to add waypoints along your route. Double-click to finish. The result exports as a KML LineString.

Is my data saved online?

No. Your map is only in your browser memory. Download the KML file before closing the tab to save your work permanently — there is no account or cloud storage.

Can I upload an existing KML to edit it?

Yes. Upload your KML file and the existing features appear on the map for you to move, reshape, rename, or delete.

What file size limits apply?

You can draw as many features as needed — there is no hard limit. The resulting KML download will be proportional to the number and complexity of your features.
